I started my first journal at the age of 4, carefully documenting the rules of the "Strawberry Shortcake Dukes of Hazard Club." This fearless and inspired endeavor was followed by a Western Romance at the age of 10.  I have been scratching out books and poetry and journal entries and blog posts since.  

I've worked as a print journalist, grant writer, and had a few articles published about international experiences.

These days I'm focusing on querying my upmarket novel about a murder mystery at a trailer campground in rural America and most recently, pecking away at a new novel idea set in small town Midwest. 

The first of my dystopian/sci-fi novel series is now up on Amazon as an e-book! The People of the Grey Woods follows Lydia and her people as they embark on a journey to save their world from the power of the Grey Lace and a scheming Prince who wants power for his own.

I mean. Fun right?
